M4 line in Linate is ready to be activated, while the extension towards Segrate is moving forward. The project is the result of agreements between public entities (Region, Metropolitan City, Segrate Municipality and Milan Municipality) and privates (SEA and Westfield Milan) that seeks at the creation of Metropolitan Hub for a direct connection between medium and long distance systems and metropolitan networks. During 2021, technical and economic feasibility projects will be developed.

Goal

Extending the route of the new Blue Line – M4 from Linate station to Segrate railway station by two stops is the goal of this project, creating an intermediate stop “Segrate San Felice” and the new terminus “New Station Segrate Porta Est”.
